Improve your health, save money, expand your culinary horizons, support local agriculture, and better the environment. These are some of the many reasons you’ll want to “go green” by signing up for the summer season of the Rosebank Farms Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. As a member of the CSA, you’ll receive a bag of our seasonal produce and fruits each week, as well as a weekly newsletter by Louise Bennett with recipes using the contents in your bag. The summer season is 12 weeks long and runs from July 16 through October 1.
Rosebank Farms offers two convenient options for members:
Delivery: Available only to Charleston’s peninsula residents. Subscribers receive fresh, seasonal, and local fruits and vegetables delivered each week to their door in a cooler box to keep items fresh.
Pick-up: Pick up a bag of fresh fruit and vegetables each week at the farm on Johns Island or at locations in West Ashley, James Island, or upper downtown Charleston.
Shares for both options come in three sizes:
• Small ($200 for bag, $360 for box)
• Medium ($300 for bag, $480 for box)
• Large ($400 for bag, $600 for box).
Shares of flowers ($96) and Giddy Goat Cheese ($50 small, $100 large) for the season can also be added to the basic CSA option.
