Pirates Invade Bohicket Marina

By Captain Rhett Butler for The Island Connection

Teamwork is a focus of the hour-long pirate program.

For the past three summers, the Pirates of Charleston have been successfully hunting treasure in Bohicket Creek. This year will be no different.

Join the Captain and crew of the Black Ghost Pirate ship for a fun interactive adventure for the entire family. Children ages 3-10 are transformed into the Pirate crew with pirate vests, hats, swords, facepaint and pirate names as they set out for adventure and treasure. The Black Ghost sets sail for little over an hour on Bohicket Creek.

The Pirate Adventure includes map reading, sword and watergun training, swabbing the deck, treasure and Pirate celebrations onboard. Teamwork is a main focus of the activities. The crew is always on the lookout for Sneaky Pete as he tries to steal the treasure key and treasure for himself. Equipped with 16 water cannons, the ship and crew are ready to defend all of their Booty.
