Mayor Tecklenburg Speaks At Kiawah Seabrook Exchange Club

Charleston Mayor John Tecklenburg and his wife, Sandy, were welcomed to the Seabrook Island Club on Wednesday, Aug. 2 by the Kiawah- Seabrook Exchange Club.

The Mayor highlighted critical issues facing Charleston and the Lowcountry and possible solutions to better manage these problems.

Affordable housing, sea level rise, drainage, the revitalization of West Ashley, the completion of the Mark Clark Expressway and more were addressed in his after dinner speech.

Over 100 members and guests attended the club’s regular Wednesday evening meeting. All islanders are invited to join the local Exchange chapter and become involved with their programs of service to the local community.
