Golf, Dinner And Baseball At Kiawah-Seabrook Exchange

By Lori Leary for The Island Connection

Will Senn and Kiawah-Seabrook Exchange Club President Bob Leggett.

Wednesday afternoon, October 4, 2017, forty exchange members, spouses and guests participated a fun round of golf at the Seabrook Island Club organized by Ken Kavanaugh and Coby VanDeGraaf. Following the Captain’s Scramble, the golfers met back in the Atlantic Room for cocktails, awards and dinner with fellow members.

Will Senn, Riverdogs Sales Representative, was guest speaker for the evening. Will, a 2014 cum laude graduate of The Citadel, candidly shared many personal experiences at The Citadel that led to his present position and highlighted the stadium’s new “Riley Park Club” indoor facility available to individuals, small and large groups, as well as a venue for private events. This large air-conditioned space offers panoramic views of the baseball field and marsh views of the Ashley River.

Comfortable leather seating is available inside and out. Free food, wine and beer around out the package offered at our favorite minor league ballpark in South Carolina.

Will’s entertaining remarks rounded out a perfect evening following a beautiful, sunny afternoon. The Kiawah-Seabrook Exchange Club just might schedule an upcoming meeting at The Joe in 2018 to watch a baseball game in style.
