Food And Fun At Bohicket’s New Hot Spot

By Brittany Jackett For the Island Connection

The salt air has a crisp, cooler feel and the sea of unfamiliar visiting faces has started to dwindle. Autumn in the Lowcountry is a local’s dream, and, to add to the beauty of a Lowcountry fall, the Salty Dog Cafe – located at Bohicket Marina Market – offers a full lineup of festive, social events that are perfect for nights out with friends or with the entire family.

Even better, all Seabrook and Kiawah Island property owners and residents will enjoy 10% off their meals, beginning Sept. 1.

Starting the first Saturday in September, the Salty Dog Cafe will host its first-ever Bohicket Crab Boil, starting at 4 p.m. Whether you like king, snow or Dungeness crab, the waterfront atmosphere, paired with live music, will create the perfect backdrop for an autumn afternoon.

“Our fall events have always been an important part of our Hilton Head location experience, and we are excited to bring new events to the Seabrook community,” Chief Operating Officer Tim Stearns commented.

Also starting in September, the Salty Dog Cafe will host an unbeatable Monday Night Football game night featuring complimentary hot dogs and fresh popcorn throughout the first half, along with loads of drink specials.

In addition, each Saturday in September, the Salty Dog Cafe has fall fun on the calendar: Saturday, Sept. 14, 4 p.m., Lowcountry Boil; Saturday, Sept. 21, 4 p.m., Craft Beer and Burger Bonanza; Saturday, Sept. 28, 4 p.m., Caribbean Beach Party.

Wednesday is BOGO burger day, starting at 4 p.m. Whether you come extra hungry or share with a friend, buy one and the second one is on the house.
