The Kiawah-Seabrook Exchange Club is anticipating a lively discussion of the potential development of Cap’n Sams Spit by representatives of Kiawah Development Partners and the Coastal Conservation League at the regular meeting of the Exchange Club on the evening of Wednesday, March 3, 2010.
The meeting will be held at the new Seabrook “Island House”, with social hour beginning at 5:45pm and the after-dinner discussion kicking off around 7:15pm. Each speaker will present his or her position within an allotted time frame, and it is expected that questions from the audience will be accepted.
Guests of Exchange Club members are welcome. The cost of the dinner and meeting is $30. A large turn-out is expected, so contact any Exchange Club member (or Mike
Morris at 637-4929) to make a reservation no later than Friday, February 26.
Exchange Club members should note that this meeting has been moved to Seabrook instead of Kiawah, the usual first monthly meeting site. Winter dress code for gentlemen (coat and collared shirt) is in effect. Because of this, the March 17 meeting will be held at Kiawah instead of Seabrook.
Don’t miss the opportunity to learn more about an important issue potentially affecting both Kiawah and Seabrook Islands.
