Fashion experts note that men’s interest in and purchases of jewelry is growing at a faster pace than women’s. And one local retailer is ready to meet the market need.
Kiawah Fine Jewelry has acquired exclusive rights to a new line of luxury accessories for men. The store, based in Freshfields Village, has secured Charleston rights to the William Henry brand, a collection of unique, crafted pieces that blend functionality and beauty.
To kick off the new relationship, Kiawah Fine Jewelry is hosting a trunk show on Friday, April 18 from noon to 8p.m. and complimentary cocktails will be provided.
The show will include one-of-a-kind handcrafted pens, knives and cuff links featuring fossil Dinosaur, Woolly Mammoth, exquisite forged metals, fine hand-engraving, gold inlaying techniques and rare exotic woods.
“This is a collection known for designing and building superlative, functional jewelry,” Bill Henzy, operations manager at Kiawah Fine Jewelry, said.
“We believe customers in this community will appreciate the superior beauty and functionality of this luxury brand. Let’s face it, men are tough to shop for, but most men would love to own one of these pieces.”
Established in 1997, William Henry was conceived by designer and entrepreneur Matt Conable. He began with transforming the archetype of all tools, the pocket knife, into a superb piece of functional jewelry for men. Today’s collections include writing instruments, cufflinks, money clips and golf tools. The seamless integration of classic natural materials, precious metals & gemstones and state-of-the-art alloys is a hallmark of William Henry’s work. The brand creates limited editions only, and no two pieces are ever replicas.
