Join Respite Care Ministries for their First Annual Dolphin Cruise on the Island Breeze at 6:30 p.m. on June 26, 2010. Enjoy light hors d’oeuvres, wine, sodas and beer while traveling past historic plantation homes and the town of Rockville before cruising through the North Edisto River known for its playful dolphin escorts. The cruise will catch the sunset on its return and arrive back in dock at the Bohicket Marina at 8:30 p.m. Funds raised during the event will be used to offset the costs of providing care and support to families affected by Alzheimer’s disease or a related form of dementia.

Respite Care Ministries is a non-profit organization that offers programs to enhance the quality of life for people suffering from memory-related diseases. The daily programs benefit participants by working to improve their lives through activities, music participation, and social interaction.
