Lowcountry residents are preparing for the 5th Annual Indiana Day on Dec. 9, 2015 to celebrate the anniversary of the state’s admittance into the Union on December 11, 1816.
The gathering has become an annual event which includes food, drinks, games, prizes, and singing all with a lot of Hoosier gusto. Participants (Including spouses and significant others) are asked to bring a hearty appetizer to share.
The organizing committee will provide plates, utensils, and soft drinks (BYOB). Participants are also asked to donate $5 to cover costs associated with the event.
The event kicks off at 6 p.m. and runs to 8 p.m. at the Oyster Catcher Community Center on Seabrook Island. If you have a connection (born, raised, lived, educated, traveled through; anything works) and would like to attend please contact Max Willis at 843.768.8301 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
