With the end of summer upon us, it’s time for cooler weather and residents returning from summer travel. The Town would like to welcome residents back at the first Fall Back to Kiawah event held on Thursday, October 4 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on the Municipal Center Back Lawn. Fall Back to Kiawah will be a casual afternoon for reconnecting with friends with a live band, food trucks, wine and beer for purchase, and a free ice cream station.
Come enjoy the five-piece Robbie Madison Band, with vocalist Robbie Madison, guitarist Sean Monahan, pianist Jonathan Lovett, bassist Tim Khayat, and Brandon Brooks on drums. This multi-genre band plays funk to jazz to popular music and everything in between. Robbie performs for the New England Patriots and has collaborated with Charlton Singleton, Wycliffe Gordon, Howard Levy and more. So, bring your chairs and stay a while, but you won’t be sitting long because this band will have you up and dancing in no time!
Food offerings include the Mac Daddy Food Truck, taking mac and cheese to a new level with options to add bacon, pulled pork (“The Most Life Changing Mac N Cheese in America” according to Esquire magazine), and Asian-fusion Japanese “soul bowls” Tomashii food truck with everything from tofu to spicy beef. Your taste buds will surely be satisfied!
Beer and wine will be available for purchase and don’t miss out on dessert because a Ben & Jerry’s cart will be scooping sweet treats as well. Leashed pets are welcome as well. We look forward to seeing you there!
