Don’t Forget To Vote Tuesday, June 12!

The Republican primary election for the District 9 Council race will be held this Tuesday, June 12 from 7 a.m.-7 p.m at Kiawah Island Municipal Center 4475 Betsy Kerrison Parkway. Kiawah and Seabrook make up an important part of Charleston County Council’s District 9 jurisdiction and a good voter turnout can be determinative in the election. There is no Democrat primary for the District 9 Council race on June 12.

In Case You Missed It: The Towns of Kiawah and Seabrook co-hosted a “meet the candidates” event for the two Republican primary candidates for Charleston County Council District 9 – Joe Qualey and Jenny Costa Honeycutt on Wednesday, May 30 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Kiawah Island Municipal Center located at 4475 Betsy Kerrison Parkway. Both Mayor Weaver and Mayor Ciancio asked each candidate a series of questions on behalf of their residents.

New Voting Location

The Republican primary election for the District 9 Council race will be held Tuesday, June 12 at the Kiawah Island Municipal Center located at 4475 Betsy Kerrison Parkway from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Voters will be asked to provide one of the following photo IDs: S.C. Driver’s License,  ID Card issued by S.C. Department of Motor Vehicles, Federal Military ID  or U.S. Passport.
