On Sunday, April 23rd, from 4 to 7 p.m., Charleston Area Therapeutic Riding will host its ninth annual In the Company of Horses fundraising event. This year the event will be a Blue Jean Ball under the roof of the organization’s new covered arena.
The event will take place at Brickhouse Equestrian Center, home of Charleston Area Therapeutic Riding, 2669 Hamilton Road, Johns Island, SC 29455.
Charleston Area Therapeutic Riding (CATR) improves the lives of children and adults with disabilities at the area’s oldest nationally accredited therapeutic horseback riding center.
CATR’s In the Company of Horses Blue Jean Ball on Sunday, April 23rd benefits the organization’s Student Scholarship Program which is essential to providing therapeutic riding to 150 individuals with disabilities each year.
CATR invites guests to throw on their favorite pair of blue jeans and boots and join them under their new roof for live entertainment by Elizabeth Scarborough as Taylor Swift, dancing, dinner by Just Stuff It, drinks by EVO, book signing by John Blackburn, a special film debut, silent and live auctions and more!
